GOD MAKES HIMSELF KNOWN IN TWO WAYS…

1. GENERAL REVELATION
   
   GOD MAKES HIMSELF KNOWN TO EVERYONE BY WHAT HE MAKES.
   
   The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims
   his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night
   reveals knowledge. – Psalm 19:1-2
   
   Romans 1:18-23
   
2. SPECIAL REVELATION
   
   WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BIBLE?
   
3. IT IS INSPIRED
   
   All Scripture is breathed out (inspired) by God and profitable for
   teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
   that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good
   work. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
   
   2 Peter 1:19-20
   
4. IT IS DEPENDABLE
   
   Without error (Inerrant)
   Infallible – which means The Bible Can Be Trusted
   For the word of the Lord is right, and all his work is trustworthy.
   
   Psalm 33:4
   
5. IT IS AUTHORITATIVE
   
   The authority of scripture is profoundly for our good! It is
   the voice of a loving Heavenly Father guiding His children
   into life!
   
6. IT IS SUFFICIENT
   
   2 Peter 1:3
   
   All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,

SO WHY DOES THIS ALL MATTER?

The Holy Spirit authored the Bible not just so that we could
know things and sound smart, but so we could know God
and be transformed by Him!
