Mission City Church embraces a cyclical approach to the transformed life. The entry point to the cycle is to KNOW; really knowing Christ, believe what he taught and understand your role in the church body. Next is to GROW, as a community, the expectation is for each of us to participate in life together, with a commitment to study the Word as we develop our faith and understand God more. Last in the rotation is to GO. This is our calling, to share the good news and to serve just as Christ served; leading as humble servants. Together, this is a life-long process that leads to abundant life and brings God glory. Here is what it looks like at Mission City Church:

Know Jesus
Understanding that this is not religion, and its not knowing about Jesus – It’s knowing Him, knowing who he is, what he has done, our need for him and that we are loved and delighted in.
Worship with Us
We corporately worship to stir our affections for God, bring Him thanks, be reminded of His promises and to care for one another in large scale. the Bible also encourages us to worship through gifts. Tithing is a remarkable way to bless not only the recipient but we’ve seen it bless the giver.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;

Baptism
Baptism is the public profession of faith in Christ. It’s an outward expression of a heart change that has happened on the inside. Like citizens of a new kingdom, this is committing to a new life, a new King; a transformed life. Use our connect form, or find the next baptism event on the calendar to get more details.

Join a LifeGroup
This community is not a club, it is your life support. It’s the place where you can bring your grief and encouragement. LifeGroups are where the church get’s ministered to, is heard, is held accountable and is blessed by shared life experiences.

Discipleship is not done alone, we encourage you to be engaged in bible studies and in support groups with fellow believers. These can be groups of women, men, life-stage, recovery, and grief groups, or professionally and interest oriented groups.

Serving
As we lay down our lives, for Christ, we pick up the burdens of those around us in His name. This possibly where we get most excited about what He has in store for us. We are seriously expecting Big Things, and this will happen as we serve the community as a community.
