Why We Serve
We care for the church and love people.
“For you were called to freedom. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13-14
We care for the church and love people.
We have weekly opportunities.
We actively sponsor and look to spread the Gospel.
“Serving at Mission City flows out of our values of Loving People, Sharing the Gospel, leading in transformation and expecting big things!”
Matt Surber

Our Manna Food Ministry distributes food to over 100 families a week who are considered food insecure by the USDA. Volunteers pick food from local sources, deliver it in crates to the church, sort it and place it in family packs. These family packs are then picked up in our drive through service where each family receives the gospel and prayer. This past year, Mission City Church saw over 60 people trust Jesus for eternal life through this ministry.

LifeGroups at Mission City Church are encouraged to live out our values through serving together in partnerships with local ministries such as inner-city family ministries, crisis pregnancy centers, homeless ministry and more. Serving the Lord together not only transforms lives in our community but the very lives of those who serve.

Go!Missions: Mission City Church’s Mission Ministry involves giving and going. We invest in church plants in Denver, Colorado and Seattle, Washington, areas in our country with less than 5% evangelical believers.
We also believe in taking the gospel near and far and to that end offer short term mission trips each year to the valley of Texas, to Puerto Rico and to Zambia, Africa to assist in planting churches.
Through an application process team members are selected and well trained to be effective in children’s missions ministries and personal evangelism. Fund raising assistance is provided to help with the cost of these trips.
