How To Be Liked And Have Friends

Six Traits To Live By…

  1. LOVE

Proverbs 3:3-4

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 20:28

28 Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  • FAITHFUL (dependable)

 Proverbs 3:3-4

  • HUMBLE

Proverbs 29:23

23 Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.

Philippians 2:3-5

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

  • DON’T BE EASILY OFFENDED

Proverbs 19:11

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

  • SPEAK CAREFULLY

Proverbs 17:27-28

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.

28 Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues

Proverbs 15:28

The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.

  • TAKE INITIATIVE

Proverbs 25:21
