The Mission City Kids Day Out (KDO) program is open during the school year on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 2 pm. KDO provides kids with age appropriate, play-based opportunities for social, emotional, early academic and spiritual growth. KDO follows the same safety and cleaning protocols as other areas of Mission City Kids to give families a safe and secure environment for kids to grow in school-readiness and spiritual understanding.

Semesters run generally close to the NEISD school calendar
Per Semester Registration and Supply Fee $75 at non-refundable registration
Monthly Tuition Rates:
$200 – ONE CHILD
$360 – TWO CHILDREN
$510 – THREE CHILDREN
Tuition is based on total number of days in the program year and stays the same regardless of number of days each specific month. Monthly Tuition is due on the second Monday of each month.
Teachers and staff are all background checked and required to attend training. Each day there are staff on site trained in child CPR and First Aid.
Kids and staff should be fever free for 24 hours without meds before attending. Those who are found to be sick will be sent home.
Parents should be prepared to send lunches with their kids each day. Microwaves are not available for reheating kids’ lunches. Snacks are provided each morning. Parents may choose to send their own snacks for special dietary needs.
9:00 am – 9:20 am // Drop off/Free Play Time in the Rooms
9:20 am -10:00 am // Bible Story/Bible Lesson (We use Bible App Curriculum)
10:00 am – 10:30 am // Worship (Songs, games, a deeper dive into the curriculum as a group, accompanying video from curriculum)
10:30 am – 11:30 am // Snack and outdoor play/craft time
11:30 am – 11:45 am // Bathroom and clean up time
11:45 am – 12:15 pm // Prayer and Lunch Time
12:15 pm – 12:30 pm // Clean up and bathroom break
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm // Nap time, quiet time (not all children nap, they may read a book or color quietly) This time varies by day and how the teacher sees the children throughout the day. They may not nap or have a shorter nap.
1:30pm – 2:00 pm // Free play (inside or outside), finish up crafts, bathroom break and preparation to go home
