Galatians 4:3

• the natural state of man apart from Christ
• Slave to the law
• Slave to demonic influences: “elementary principles of the world”

What Christ Does…

• Pays the full price for the law and sin (REDEEMS US)
  Galatians 4:4-5
• Procures for us the full rights as sons and daughters (ADOPTS US)

To accept redemption without adoption is to miss half the gospel!

God’s knowing us is absolutely complete, fixed and solid!

So our assurance and confidence as Christians is not how much our hearts are set on God, but how unshakably His heart is set on us!
