Gal 1:6  I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 

THAT IS THE POINT OF GALATIANS…

• Paul says…You people are turning from THE GOSPEL…To A DIFFERENT GOSPEL…

What is the Gospel?  

Jesus + Nothing = Heaven

What’s the Different Gospel they had turned to? 

Jesus + Something = Heaven

Mercy = when you DO NOT receive what you DO deserve

GRACE = when you DO receive what you DO NOT deserve

Gal 1:3  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 

Gal 1:4  who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

HE DELIVERED US

JESUS + NOTHING (not morality, not good works, not religion)
