Registration is $20 which includes your materials and childcare for the semester. Studies are weekly and begin the week of September 19th.
TAUGHT BY DARLENE WATSON: The Apostle John was a devoted follower of Jesus and eyewitness of His majesty! He beheld Christ’s miracles, teachings, and suffering. John stood in awe inside the empty tomb and ate breakfast with the resurrected Lord. Through John’s testimony, we come to behold and believe that Jesus is indeed a son of God and the Savior of the World. In Behold and Believe, Marian Jordan Ellis leads participants verse by verse through the gospel of John and explains the Old Testament signs, symbols, and prophecies fulfilled and Jesus Christ.
TAUGHT BY SUZIE BUCK: Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho. And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel. Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable. Join Priscilla Shirer on journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.
TAUGHT BY VICKI CLEMMONS: In Christianity 101, we’ll study the foundational beliefs of our faith and discuss what being a Christian is all about. We’ll explore topics such as: How to navigate the Bible. How to pray. What is salvation? How do I grow in my faith? Whether you are a new believer in Christ, or you’d just like a refresher course, we’d love to have you dig into God’s Word with us and discover what it means to follow Jesus!
We corporately worship, support and pray together weekly. Find out more about Sundays at Mission City below, and more about worship specifically here.
