Mission City Kids strives to be a place where kids experience Jesus through fun, active, age-appropriate teaching in a gospel centered and Bible focused safe and secure environment.

Kids are taught Biblical truth through games, crafts, hands on activities, large group teaching, small group relationships, music, and engaging short videos. Sharing of prayer requests, talking about real life application of the Bible content, and encouraging one another are all ways kids build relationships in kids ministry. Lessons and activities are Bible focused and Gospel centered. Kids will know our lessons come from God’s word that is always true and will hear the Gospel presented in clear kid friendly ways from the earliest ages. We make use of the limited time we have with kids to teach them about Jesus-it’s so much more than just babysitting! Parents will receive information each week about what was taught to help continue the conversation at home.
Our amazing volunteers know your kids by name, are background checked, and require pick up tags before releasing children from the rooms. Rooms are sanitized before each service and between ministry hours and hand washing happens regularly. Rooms are food free except for our baby rooms to provide safety for kids with food allergies. Kids and volunteers are expected to be 24 hours symptom free before joining kids ministry after an illness.

Kids Day Out – At the Central Campus
Mission City Kids Day Out is open during the school year on Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes are 9am to 2pm. KDO provides kids with age appropriate, play-based opportunities for social, emotional, early academic and spiritual growth. KDO follows the same safety and cleaning protocols as other areas of Mission City Kids to give families a safe and secure environment for kids to grow in school-readiness and spiritual understanding.

Faith / Education / Experience : Mission City Preschool is an opportunity for 3-4 year old developing minds to prepare academically for elementary school while introducing them to a variety of experiences that explore their God-given talents and interests in a social setting.
